innovision bolsters Project Delivery team with six new recruits

Alice Zalwango joins innovision as Project Manager

Live event and experience agency innovision has expanded and further strengthened its Project Delivery team with six new hires this year, in line with continued growth and development.

The new appointments include Alice Zalwango, Gordon Reid and Niamh Gallagher as Project Managers, responsible for a wide range of projects for clients across the UK and beyond, including Wings for Life, Parallel London and UK Trade & Investment (UKTI).

Zalwango joins the agency from the Financial Times where she worked as Global Project and Events Manager looking after clients such as Barclays and Deloitte.

Paralympian Sophia Warner joins Parallel London

Sophia Warner, Paralympian track and field athlete and founder of the UK’s first sports event dedicated to the UK’s disabled, Tribal Series Para Tri, has this week joined Parallel London as Partnerships Director.

Parallel London launched nationally in February and aims to become the UK’s largest disability-led event. The event will host a number of mass-participation push/run challenges, from 100m to 10k, within the iconic Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Furthermore, the event will stage a family festival offering a range of fully inclusive and accessible attractions across art, dance, literature, fitness, active lifestyle, technology, food and drink.

The event, which will take place on 4 September and is backed by The Mayor of London, is open to disabled participants as well as their friends, families and colleagues to complete one of their chosen routes at their own pace and style.

Andrew Douglass, Founder and CEO of market-leading live event and experience agency innovision, has founded the world’s first fully inclusive mass participation run, Parallel London.

Parallel London is a unique, not-for-profit event that aims to encourage disabled people to be more active and more independent. It also wants to shine a light on inclusivity in everyday life, influencing greater accessibility in our society, whilst also helping to change public perceptions towards disability for the better.

Backed by the Mayor of London and announced today by Founder Andrew Douglass, this major national event will take place on Sunday, 4 September at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London, a day after the Mayor of London’s Liberty Festival.

Live event and experience agency innovision today announces three new hires to its Creative Services Team as part of its continued expansion and ongoing commitment to creative excellence. Paul Martin joins innovision as Head of Creative Services alongside James Edwards as Creative Director. Meanwhile, Katie Stamp comes on board as Creative Designer.

Martin joins from a digital and integrated creative background, following stints as Senior Digital Creative at Conran Design Group and Immediate Media Co. In a new role for innovision, Martin will provide leadership, creative guidance and art direction to a growing Creative Services Team.
