LONDON, UK – October 19, 2016 – Yesterday, creative experience agency innovision staged a heroes’ return in London’s Trafalgar Square in recognition of the enormous success of Britain’s Paralympic and Olympic athletes at Rio 2016.

The celebration event, which kicked off at 1pm GMT, saw crowds of more than 25,000 take to Trafalgar Square to show their appreciation for over 300 ParalympicsGB and Team GB athletes for their record-breaking performances, which thrilled the nation at the Games.

Live event and experience agency innovision created an engaging, emotive and impactful experience to launch BP’s best ever anti-dirt fuels with ACTIVE technology to an audience of international press, dealers, industry partners, B2B customers and BP employees.

The BP global launch event, named #OurFuelStory, hosted more than 650 exclusively invited guests from 15 countries over five days at the ADAC Driving Centre in Berlin (18-22 April).

BP’s brief was to create an exciting and memorable experiential event, differentiated from the standard media launch, through which to tell the story of the new BP fuels with ACTIVE technology in a way that would increase brand and product awareness, and drive behavioural change.

Live event and experience agency innovision has expanded and further strengthened its Project Delivery team with six new hires this year, in line with continued growth and development.

The new appointments include Alice Zalwango, Gordon Reid and Niamh Gallagher as Project Managers, responsible for a wide range of projects for clients across the UK and beyond, including Wings for Life, Parallel London and UK Trade & Investment (UKTI).

Paralympian Sophia Warner joins Parallel London

Sophia Warner, Paralympian track and field athlete and founder of the UK’s first sports event dedicated to the UK’s disabled, Tribal Series Para Tri, has this week joined Parallel London as Partnerships Director.

Parallel London launched nationally in February and aims to become the UK’s largest disability-led event. The event will host a number of mass-participation push/run challenges, from 100m to 10k, within the iconic Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Furthermore, the event will stage a family festival offering a range of fully inclusive and accessible attractions across art, dance, literature, fitness, active lifestyle, technology, food and drink.

The event, which will take place on 4 September and is backed by The Mayor of London, is open to disabled participants as well as their friends, families and colleagues to complete one of their chosen routes at their own pace and style.
